Human Resources Coordinator

Overview:

Corporate Tools in Post Falls, Idaho is adding a Human Resources Coordinator to our team. You will join a team of HR Generalists that are actively involved in making Corporate Tools an amazing place to work, and you will play a pivotal role in making sure we can continue to achieve these goals. The work we do creates organizational structure to allow employees the freedom to achieve their highest potential in an environment where they are valued, respected, and challenged to do amazing stuff every day.

We’re not looking for just any HR Coordinator, more of an HR rebel. For you, common sense rules over unnecessary processes and policies. We do what makes sense, while being legally compliant, but not getting tangled up in the corporate HR mumbo jumbo. What exactly is HR mumbo jumbo? This is considered a hybrid position meaning that you’ll need to live within commuting distance to the Post Falls, Idaho area and work on-site at our Post Falls, Idaho office 5 days a week through a 60 day-ish training period, and then 3-5 days a week in office moving forward.

Wage:

$26 per hour

Responsibilities:

  • Create a positive working environment by contributing to a fully functioning office setting through organization, communication, and time management
  • Maintain Human Resources standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Be apart of creating an exceptional new hire experience by being a point of contact before their first day, coordinating the completion of new hire paperwork, and assisting with new hire orientation as needed
  • Manage Form I-9s by verifying I-9 documentation and maintaining I-9 files to compliance standards
  • Administer company surveys and collaborate with Human Resources Partners to identify trends and put together reporting for Leadership
  • Manage employee documentation by keeping it up-to-date in Paycom, including: Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), Employee Manual, Company Policies, etc. This also includes running document audits and following-up with employees and Leaders to ensure document completion as needed
  • Gather feedback on how to improve the employee experience by regularly conducting Exit and Stay Interviews
  • Provide support to recently offboarded employees by responding to unemployment documentation requests, and answering questions and providing resources as needed
  • Manage internal job postings, application tracking, and eligibility screening
  • Identify opportunities for improving Human Resources processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and accuracy
  • Partner with the Human Resources Partners to provide other support as needed

Preferred Requirements:

  • Secondary degree or professional certificate in Human Resources or a related field
  • Previous experience operating within a Human Resource Information System (HRIS)
  • Previous experience with Agile principles
  • Previous experience working with Jira or other project management tools

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience providing administrative support, and/or managing projects
  • 2+ years of experience working within Human Resources or an adjacent team
  • Previous experience sourcing information by asking the right questions, investigating online information, and cross-referencing to verify validity of information
  • Comprehensive knowledge and skills with written and verbal communication. Ability to communicate effectively with people across the company, at all levels. Ability to write and manage content that reads well and is a resource for others to reference
  • Ability to proactively identify mistakes in grammar, spelling, and formatting. Great at note taking and picking up on details others might not have noticed
  • Analyzing information and ideas in a systematic and logical manner beyond accepting something at face value, and having the ability to consider alternative perspectives and solutions
  • Ability to be adaptable in communication style, approach to problem-solving, and overall working environment
  • Can effectively work independently but can also collaborate with a team when needed. Takes initiative to complete tasks and improve processes
  • Strong computer skills, ability to navigate systems to gather information, and troubleshoot minor technical issues as needed
  • Coachable with the ability to both take and provide feedback
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information and have a professional attitude
