Senior Tax Analyst
Overview:
Corporate Tools in Post Falls, Idaho is searching for a Senior Tax Analyst to join our Finance Department. Our organization has money coming in from around the world. We have filing and registration obligations in every state. We have to plan, research, and maintain tax compliance in local, state, federal, and worldwide jurisdictions.
We are looking for someone to help lead the tax process across our organization. We have a growing group of finance folks here that actually understand and care about what you have to say. We want another tax-loving human to help the company develop a smooth tax process and pay as little as possible while staying legally compliant. You should want to be a part of a business, not squirreled away in a tax department.
This position is coded as “Hydrid” meaning after initial training and onboarding, which will take place in office, occasional remote work is available. However, this role will be expected to continue tow ork in our Post Falls, Idaho office 2-3 days/ week.

Wage:
$110,000/year

Responsibilities:
- Timely and accurate compliance preparation and filing for all direct and indirect tax requirements of the businesses
- Manage and coordinate associated cash payments required for compliance
- Work with the Senior Tax Manager on direct and indirect tax audits and notices, for all jurisdictions as they arise
- Prepare various analyses required to build and support tax positions such as R&D credits, depreciation schedules, and other complex calculations.
- Prepare tax provisions in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles
- Proactively stay current on tax developments that may impact the company's tax positions
- Gain a deep understanding of the business; integrate to ensure tax consequences of business operations are understood upfront, not after the fact
- Support planning and research activities regarding direct and indirect tax scenarios. Communicate findings efficiently to non-tax professionals
- Additional ancillary items as required to support overall finance
- Take revenues that come in, make rounds to our 5 laundromats around town, and mix electronic payments in with a complex crypto atm we run at each laundromat and recycle through our El Salvador operation
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or tax related field
- 2-3 years of relevant professional experience
- CPA License, preferred
- Experience utilizing tax research tools such as CCH, BNA or Thomson Reuters
